nothing special. I just got frisked by the cops making it the 5th month in a row a cop has frisked me without a reason, but I guess that's what i get for being Latino at a bus stop, or on a train, or leaving a bar, or driving home, or at work. The only real satisfaction I get is when they cant find a damn thing (and I mean nothing) to even give me a ticket for and they have to go look for some other poor sap. I'm 24 I grew up in Chicago with two white parents, my Latino dad left when I was a kid, and I have never been made to feel like a minority till I moved out here. I'm starting to loose hope on California, and it's starting to make me loose hope in the decency of other people. Things have been god awful since I moved here. I had to spend $6000 on the move, fight off my first (alcoholic) landlord, live with a religious nut who was a mean gossip behind a poor Japanese kids back (she took in foreign exchange students (another story)), buy a broken car, loose a shitty (but necessary) job where I was encouraged to break into private properties, and house a deadbeat friend who I don't want to just watch become homeless. THAT WAS HIS PLAN, I'll just be homeless, it's warm in california. I wanted to slap him. anywho, I'm tired, sleep time.
